Control Cables.

Approved as per IS 1554- Part 1 (1988) and IS 7098- Part 1 (1988), “Ravicab” make Control cables are multi-core cables utilized for mechanization and instrumentation applications. Control cables have a wide range of applications such as signal transmission, control, measurement, and regulation.

Multi-core - 2 to 61 core - Up to 2.5 Sq.mm

2 to 12 cores - from 4 Sq.mm to 16 Sq.mm 

2 to 4 cores - up to 400 Sq.mm

  • Conductor Type : Annealed Bare Copper (ABC) / Annealed Tinned Copper (ATC)
  • Conductor Construction : Solid (Class 1)  / Stranded (Class 2)
  • Insulation : PVC / HR PVC / FR PVC / XLPE / FR-XLPE / FR-LSH / LSZH (ZHLS) / XL-LSZH / PP / TPE / PE / TPU
  • Inner Sheath : PVC / HR PVC / FR PVC / FR-LSH / LSZH (ZHLS) / PE / TPU / FR PE
  • Armour : G.I wire / G.I Strip / G.S Tape / Aluminium Wire or Strip / Copper Tape / Copper Wire

The Cable can be manufactured with :

  • Anti - Termite and Anti - Rodent Properties.
  • UV Resistance Properties (As pre ASTM G 154 & 155, ISO 4892-2 Method A, UL 1581)
  • Acid, Alkali, Sulphur & Oil Resistance (as per IEC 60881-404)
  • Operating Temperature Rating ranging from -40 to +105
  • MICA for Fire Survival / Resistance properties up to 950
  • RoHS & REACH compliance
  • Water Resistance / Water Blocking Tape
